MLA
Maintenance Leadership Academy (MLA) is a learning experience which focuses on cost reduction and increased utilization. Fleet maintenance is the fourth highest cost in trucking behind fuel, drivers, and equipment purchasing/leasing; however, it is the highest cost over which a fleet has the most influence. A good maintenance program based on Organizational Waste Reduction and Best Practices can give any company a competitive advantage.
Students can attend our MLA Classes, which are held multiple times per year, or we can provide custom picked modules to suit any company’s needs. Fleet owners, Vendors, Operations, Maintenance Personnel of any level, and anyone else involved in the supply chain are welcome.
Students leave the classes with an action plan that will act as a road map for their improvement. Follow up “coaching” calls at 30, 60, and 90 days to ensure students stay on track with their goals.
MLA 1: Introduction to Fleet Efficiency
“MLA 1” not only covers the “Best Practices” used by fleets today but it also prepares the students to make improvements in their current maintenance programs. Students learn new tools to improve efficiency and reduce their overall maintenance costs – savings that fall right to the bottom line. Along with the interactive learning, all students will receive a fresh, maintenance benchmarking of their fleet to see where they stand compared to the industry and just how much opportunity there is for improvement.
